JRs latest revelations JR said recently in his blog that the ECW we used to know is now completely gone following the departure of Joey Styles. He commented on the UK events that WWE held recently by remarking on how knowledgable the fans were and how they don't seem to like John Cena. On divas in the WWE he seemed to be supportive of the current drive to widen the ethnioc diversity of the divas on RAW and Smackdown. On Bret Hart's new book he was effusive in his praise, saying that he thought it to be not only one of the best wrestling books he has ever read but also one of the best biographies he has ever read in any field. |

- Benoit and more In an interview with the sun (UK newspaper), Bret Hart made a few notable points: In relation to his McMahon Appreciation night appearance, he said that the reason he did the show was to prove he can bury the hatchet; he also left the door open for another special WWE appearance by saying that he always tells WWE that they can always ask; he reiterated his statement that he would very much like to have worked with Kurt Angle and added that he would like to work with Mysterio, Big Show and Dykstra. He told the interviewer that he didn't believe that it was steroids that caused the assumed double murder suicide of Chris Benoit and said that if Benoit did it then he must have lost his mind indicating that he couldn't imagine the Benoit he knew doing something like that. |

Angle compares politics in TNA to WWE "One thing I don’t like is politics in wrestling. You’re going to have that, but here, if there are any, it’s very little. I’m the top guy and I’m not stopping anyone from coming up and taking my place. I want somebody to come up and take my place. In WWE it’s the opposite,” said Angle. “Everybody is trying to keep everybody else down. I want everyone to come up to my level. Me and [Samoa] Joe are going to have a great match on pay-per-view. I want him to look better than I look so that his value goes up. That’s how we all are. We all want to make each other look good. It’s a lot different locker room than it is in WWE." |
